All students are required to wear the approved uniform daily. Our dress code is aligned with the Lynwood Unified School District’s uniform policy, and it is strictly enforced. Students not in uniform will be sent to the office and provided with a loaner uniform, which must be returned at the end of the day.

What is Not Allowed
To maintain a safe and respectful learning environment, certain items and styles are not permitted. Examples include:

Clothing that is body-hugging, overly baggy, too short (2 inches or more above the knee), see-through, or torn with skin exposed

T-shirts, halter tops, crop tops, fishnet shirts, and clothes with vulgar or distracting messages

Jewelry that is distracting or potentially dangerous (e.g., hoop earrings, nose rings, plugs)

Open-toe or backless shoes, including thong sandals

Excessive or distracting hairstyles, hair colors, tattoos (permanent or henna), or makeup

Electronic devices (phones, earbuds, etc.) must not be visible or heard while on campus

Hats/caps are only allowed outdoors for sun protection and must not display gang-related or inappropriate messages
Uniform Incentives
To encourage daily participation, students in grades 3–6 can earn “Bison in Uniform” tickets for a chance to win prizes in a bi-weekly Friday raffle. Random uniform checks are also conducted weekly by the principal or teachers.
