Community Schools at Marshall

Marshall Elementary is proud to be a Community School, bringing students, families, staff, and community partners together to support student success.

As part of our Community Schools Advisory Council, each year, we survey students, staff, families, and community members to better understand how we can grow together. Results offer valuable insight into the priorities and aspirations of our school community.

Based on input from our most recent survey, we are focused on increasing student attendance, increasing parent engagement and hosting school events.

By addressing these needs, Marshall Elementary is working to create a vibrant, inclusive Community School where students, families, staff, and partners thrive together.

🌟 Community Schools Case Manager Spotlight: Mrs. Valencia ðŸŒŸ

At Marshall Elementary, we are proud to highlight the incredible work of our Community Schools Case Manager, Mrs. Valencia. She plays a vital role in supporting our students, families, and school community every single day.

Mrs. Valencia works closely with parents and families in need to connect them with valuable resources, ensuring that every child has the support they deserve both inside and outside of school. In addition, she collaborates with our SEL Specialist and LCSW to provide extra resources for students who may be facing challenges, making sure no student is left without the help they need.

Her dedication goes beyond just connecting families to resources. Mrs. Valencia goes out of her way to support students who are having a difficult time coming to school, finding creative and caring ways to encourage attendance and making school a place where all students feel welcomed and excited to learn. Through her efforts, she helps make school not only supportive but also fun—so that every student looks forward to being part of our Marshall community.

We are grateful for Mrs. Valencia’s heart, hard work, and commitment to helping our students and families thrive. She is truly an essential part of what makes Marshall Elementary a strong and supportive school for all.
